(Gray News) – A widely known hockey reporter and her three children have been found dead in a house fire in Minnesota, in line with a number of reviews.

On Saturday, firefighters responded to a house round 5:25 a.m., according to the White Bear Lake Fire Department.

“The entire National Hockey League family sends our prayers and deepest condolences to the Pierce family on the passing of Jessi Pierce and her three young children,” the league stated in a press release. “Jessi loved our game and was a valued member of the NHL.com team for a decade. We will miss her terribly.”

Pierce was a contributor to NHL.com for 10 seasons and coated the Minnesota Wild.
