Speaker Johnson: yes to testing nuclear weapons, no to partially reopening the government

GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson tells Dana Bash on “Inside Politics” that he helps President Trump’s calls to resume testing nuclear weapons as a result of “the only way to maintain peace is to show strength.” The Speaker pushed again on calls to partially reopen the government, saying “we can’t deviate from the primary job and accountability of the US Congress, and that’s to preserve the government in operation for the folks.”
