Yakima, Wash. — With the 2026 World Cup approaching, soccer followers within the Yakima space can have a brand new approach to catch high-intensity matches with out touring to the opposite aspect of the mountains.
Sozo Sports Complex has been named one of many free World Cup fan zones designed to convey a stadium-like environment to native communities.
The Yakima fan zone will host watch events for matches that includes the United States or Mexico.
Sozo is scheduled to host watch events for the next video games:
- June 18: Mexico vs. South Korea, kickoff at 6 p.m.
- June 19: United States vs. Australia, kickoff at midday
- June 24: Czechia vs. Mexico, kickoff at 6 p.m.
- June 25: Turkey vs. United States, kickoff at 7 p.m.
Admission and parking for the occasion is free. Food and drinks can be accessible for buy. Doors of the venue will open 90 minutes earlier than kickoff.
