SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College Athletic Department hosted its annual Sports Recognition night time on Monday, honoring the varsity’s high student-athletes. It was the 44th model of the occasion, began in 1983.
In addition to the entire conventional particular person awards, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) introduced two new awards – Thoroughbred Impact Award (Staff) and Thoroughbred Impact Award (Faculty). Neil Bilotta, assistant professor of social work, was introduced with the award underneath the college umbrella. Under the employees class, retiring athletics director Gail Cummings-Danson was stunned with the award and a particular presentation from SAAC representatives from all 19 groups.
