Angela Sasso struck out 8 batters within the victory. Gabby Bryce and Katherine Rizzo each doubled in a run for the Cougars. Colts Neck is one other group with 4 video games this week with three division video games earlier than the weekend. On Monday they host No. 5 Red Bank Catholic and Wednesday they journey to No. 1 St. John Vianney. They play No. 6 Marlboro on Thursday earlier than touring to Seton Hall University on Saturday to play Mount St. Dominic who’s at present the top-ranked group in New Jersey based on NJ Advance Media.

6.Marlboro (1-0) Last Week: 5 –. Marlboro, like Colts Neck, performed their preseason in Florida and performed their first common season sport Saturday. 7. Barnegat (3-0) Last Week: 8 – Barnegat picked-up two divisional wins final week to enhance to 2-0 within the Independence Division. They defeated Toms River East 2-1 to begin the week after which shutout New Egypt 12-0. Junior Gianna Gomez begins the season with 47 strikeouts over three video games. Freshman Mikaila Wickham hit the primary residence run of her profession and began her season 3-for-5 with 4 RBI’s. Barnegat travels to Toms River South on Tuesday and hosts Point Beach on Thursday in two division video games. On Friday, they host Pinelands in a non-divisional sport.
8.Holmdel (2-0) Last Week: 10 – Holmdel sits on high of the Colonial Division with two wins to begin the season. The Hornets began the season with a 14-2 win over Wall and a 6-2 win over previously No. 7 Raritan. Senior Julia Henderson has 18 strikeouts to begin the season and allowed two earned runs. Sophomore Molly Debias is 5-for-6 to begin the season and Natalie Clifford hit her first residence run of the season and drove in three runs. Holmdel will look to enhance to 4-0 within the division this week after they journey to Matawan on Wednesday and Howell on Thursday.

9. Raritan (1-1) Last Week: 7 – Raritan began the season with a 7-1 win over Matawan. The Rockets rallied with 5 runs within the backside of the sixth inning to safe the win.
