Khotang. A ‘Scientific Exploration and Science-Math Exhibition-2083’ pageant is ready to be organized in Diktel from Baisakh 3 to 7.

The pageant is being collectively organized by the Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, Shubham Foundation, and Himalayan Secondary School, Solma, with monetary help from the Ministry of Social Development, Koshi Province Government.

Surya Bahadur Rai, coordinator of the pageant organizing committee and government director of Shubham Foundation, said that the occasion is being organized with the goal of fostering curiosity in science and know-how amongst college students and the youthful technology to produce future scientists.

“This technology-friendly and innovation-oriented festival is being organized for the first time in the district. The objective is to encourage local innovation by increasing interest in science and technology among the youth and exploring the uses and possibilities of AI,” he mentioned. “The festival will feature science projects prepared by students, AI-based model presentations, and interactive stalls. We expect the five-day festival to develop creative thinking in students and contribute significantly to the expansion of knowledge and skills related to science and technology in rural areas.”

It has been introduced that the faculties and college students securing first, second, and third positions in the pageant’s challenge competitors will be awarded money prizes of 20,000, 10,000, and 5,000 rupees, respectively. The organizers said that the winner of the Robo Car Race will obtain 15,000 rupees, whereas the second and third place winners will obtain 10,000 and 5,000 rupees, respectively.

Festival coordinator Rai knowledgeable that 5,000 rupees every will be awarded below the People’s Choice Award and Most Practical Innovation Award classes.
