RIYADH: The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, in partnership with the Research, Development and Innovation Authority, has opened registration for the Deep Tech Commercialization Bootcamp.
The program targets research groups throughout the Kingdom which have prototypes or superior applied sciences prepared for testing and commercialization.
Registration will stay open till April 29, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
The bootcamp will happen at The Garage in Riyadh from May 3-5. It is designed to help researchers and innovators by offering an enabling surroundings and equipping them with the instruments and expertise wanted to turn their innovation tasks into profitable, investment-ready ventures.
The program will even assist individuals tackle the commercialization challenges related to deep applied sciences and channel innovation towards supporting nationwide growth priorities.
This bootcamp is a part of KACST’s broader efforts to empower research groups and speed up the transition of research-based improvements into commercially viable merchandise with tangible financial impression available in the market.
It additionally contributes to advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting financial diversification and fostering the expansion of deep tech-based enterprises.
KACST invited eligible research groups to register for the bootcamp to strengthen their capabilities in areas similar to market evaluation, enterprise mannequin growth, and expertise switch and licensing methods.
