Alex Zanardi, the Italian auto racing champion-turned-Paralympic gold medalist, has died at 59. After a 2001 crash that resulted within the amputation of each legs, he shifted to hand biking and have become one of many world’s most completed athletes. NCS’s Patrick Snell experiences.
