The Cincinnati Reds‘ bullpen has been among the many worst in MLB this season.

Their 4.91 bullpen ERA ranks because the third-worst mark within the majors. Injuries to key relievers, together with Pierce Johnson (proper elbow irritation) and Graham Ashcraft (UCL sprain in his proper forearm), have performed a significant position in these struggles.

But maybe no harm has impacted Cincinnati’s relief corps greater than the lack of nearer Emilio Pagán. The 35-year-old right-hander suffered a Grade 2 left hamstring pressure in opposition to the Chicago Cubs on May 5.
