ANNAPOLIS — Maryland is strengthening its place because the nation’s “Capital of Quantum.”
Governor Wes Moore introduced Microsoft will open a brand new quantum analysis middle within the University of Maryland’s Discovery District, making a hub for next-generation quantum applied sciences.
The new middle is the outcome of a partnership between the State of Maryland, the University of Maryland Enterprise Corporation, and Microsoft.
It marks a serious milestone within the state’s effort to grow to be a world chief in quantum data science and know-how innovation.

“Maryland is making big bets on the future to grow our economy and drive innovation. Quantum is at the center of that strategy,” Gov.
