At least 45 protesters have been killed in the primary 12 days of ongoing nationwide protests in Iran, in line with the Norway-based Iran Human Rights NGO (IHRNGO). NCS can not independently confirm these numbers, as non-state media, web entry, and protest actions in Iran have all confronted important suppression. NCS’s Jomana Karadsheh reviews.
