Prof Yearul Kabir Appointed New VC of JUST
DHAKA, April 13, 2026 (BSS)- Prof Dr Yearul Kabir has been appointed as the brand new Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST).
A press launch by the Education Ministry mentioned the data at this time.
He beforehand served as a professor within the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Dhaka University.
According the press launch, with the approval of the President and Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yearul Kabir has been appointed because the Vice-Chancellor of Jashore University of Science and Technology underneath Section 10(1) of the Jashore University of Science and Technology Act, 2001.
The tenure of his appointment as Vice-Chancellor shall be 4 (4) years from the date of becoming a member of. In this place, he’ll obtain a wage and allowances equal to his present place.

As the chief government officer of the college, he’ll reside on the college campus full-time, and the President and Chancellor might cancel this appointment at any time if obligatory.
