Private jet carrying 8 people crashes at Bangor, Maine, airport, FAA says


A non-public jet carrying eight people crashed on takeoff from Bangor, Maine, Sunday night, in keeping with the FAA.

The extent of their accidents will not be identified, a supply briefed on the incident instructed NCS.

The airplane is a Bombardier Challenger 650 enterprise jet.

The airport instructed NCS in an announcement emergency crews responded to an incident round 7:45 p.m. ET. The airport is closed.

The FAA and NTSB will examine the crash, in keeping with an announcement from the FAA.

The crash comes amid an enormous snowstorm making its approach by way of the Northeast. Temperatures are effectively under freezing in Maine, with gentle snow inflicting very low visibility.
