The top-ranked teams in ninth Region girls and boys basketball have big games scheduled during the final week of the regular season, together with an interstate matchup between boys teams that have a mixed file of 41-4.

On Tuesday, the Covington Catholic boys group that was ranked No. 1 within the newest statewide media ballot will go to Cincinnati Moeller, ranked No. 10 in Ohio Division I by MaxPreps. Tipoff is ready for six p.m.

CovCath (25-1) has gained 19 straight and is averaging a whopping 82.5 factors per recreation. Moeller (16-3) has gained 4 in a row, clinched first place within the Greater Cincinnati League final Friday and is giving up simply 42.9 factors per recreation.

Ryle graduate is freshman starter on school group
