Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi conveyed this following a restricted assembly led by the President on the VVIP Room of Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base right here on Tuesday.
He acknowledged that the President emphasised the significance of mastering Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines as the inspiration for getting ready expert professionals able to advancing key authorities applications.
“The President has specifically assigned the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology to strengthen human resource development based on STEM,” Prasetyo mentioned.
He defined that enhancing human sources by science and know-how is a part of the federal government’s broader technique to construct a better training and analysis ecosystem that aligns with industrial wants.
This initiative goals to equip Indonesia to compete within the period of knowledge-based and innovation-driven financial transformation.
“This assignment is closely related to the preparation for several major government programs, particularly in the plantation and maritime sectors, which require high-quality human resources,” Prasetyo added.
The restricted assembly was additionally attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir, and Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto.
