ELMWOOD PARK, Ill. (WLS) — One suspect was injured and in custody after a police chase in Elmwood Park Tuesday morning, police stated.
Elmwood Park police stated they responded to a burglary alarm at a sports bar in the 2000-block of North Harlem Avenue.

The suspects on the scene tried to drive off and police pursued them, police stated.
The suspects’ automobile crashed into an Elmwood Park police squad automotive close to Palmer Street and Harlem Avenue in Chicago.
The officer in the squad automotive is anticipated to be OK. One suspect was injured in the crash and transported to Gottlieb Hospital, the place he was listed in steady situation, police stated.
Two extra suspects ran off, police stated. Chopper7 flew above the scene close by and it appeared somebody was taken into custody.
