The Planetary Science and Technology through Analog Research (PSTAR) program addresses the necessity for built-in interdisciplinary area experiments as an integral a part of preparation for deliberate human and robotic missions. Furthermore, this system solicits proposals for investigations centered on exploring the Earth’s excessive environments as a way to develop a sound technical and scientific foundation to conduct astrobiological analysis on different photo voltaic system our bodies. The focus of this program ingredient is on offering high-fidelity scientific investigations, scientific enter, and science operations constraints within the context of planetary area campaigns. The present Program Officer for PSTAR is Becky McCauley Rench. Click here for a full list of Program Officers.
The PSTAR solicitation is a consolidation of two earlier calls: Astrobiology Science and Technology for Exploring Planets (ASTEP) and Moon Mars Analogue and Mission Activities (MMAMA).
The NASA Solicitation and Proposal Integrated Review and Evaluation System (NSPIRES) accommodates data on all NASA-funded analysis alternatives. Be certain to create an NSPIRES account to obtain updates and to reply to NASA analysis bulletins.
