Local leaders of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association spoke in regards to the significance of air visitors controllers persevering with to indicate as much as work in a video message printed on the tenth day of the federal authorities shutdown.

In a separate video launched Friday, the top of NATCA urged elected officers to finish the federal shutdown and pushed again on the “persistent false narrative that air traffic controllers somehow control its outcome.”

“Let me be clear: air traffic controllers did not start this shutdown, and we will not be responsible for ending it,” NATCA president Nick Daniels mentioned in a video assertion Friday.

NATCA represents almost 11,000 licensed Federal Aviation Administration air visitors controllers and greater than 3,300 trainees, in keeping with the group.
