The NYK Group has acquired the naming rights for a lounge positioned on the primary ground of Etchujima Hall at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT). The facility has been designated because the “NYK Group Lounge.”
At the December 15 opening ceremony, distinguished visitors — together with TUMSAT President Toshio Iseki and NYK Managing Executive Officer Hisaya Higuchi — marked the revealing of the ability with nice enthusiasm.

Established in 2003 by means of the merger of Tokyo University of Mercantile Marine and Tokyo University of Fisheries, TUMSAT has contributed to the event of the delivery business by advancing analysis in marine fields and cultivating and producing excellent maritime professionals.
By buying the naming rights for this facility, NYK goals to make our Group extra accessible to college students who will form the longer term of the delivery business and to help the enhancement of instructional and analysis environments.
