NIB & ICDDR,B sign MoU for higher analysis, knowledge exchange
DHAKA, Feb 08, 2026 (BSS)- A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB) beneath the Ministry of Science and Technology and the International Health Research Institute (ICDDR,B).
The MoU was signed right this moment on the assembly room of the Ministry of Science and Technology on the Bangladesh Secretariat, mentioned a press launch right here.
NIB Director General Professor Dr Sagir Ahmed and ICDDR,B Executive Director Dr Tahmid Ahmed signed the MoU.
Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Md. Anwar Hossain was current because the chief visitor on the occasion.
In his speech, the Secretary mentioned that ICDDR,B is a good establishment. This settlement will open new horizons of higher analysis, knowledge exchange and medical companies between the 2 establishments, which is able to play a job in bettering the standard of healthcare for the individuals, he added.
The Chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, further secretary, joint secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology and senior officers of each organizations had been current on the occasion.
