Universities Space Research Association (USRA) introduced the institution of a brand new Council—the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Science and Technology Council (HBCU S&T Council) on Wednesday, May 3. This Council goals at fostering extra collaborative alternatives for R&D in space-related disciplines between USRA, HBCU college and college students and the federal authorities. In addition to UDC, council membership consists of senior college representatives from Alabama A&M University, Alabama State University, Bowie State University, Florida A&M University, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina A&T State University and Texas Southern University.
