Listen to this textHassan Aziz has been appointed dean of the Rochester Institute of Technology College of Health Sciences and Technology following a nationwide search.
Aziz presently serves as dean and professor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and will start his new position at RIT on Aug. 1.
A Fellow of the Association of Clinical Scientists, Aziz brings in depth expertise in higher education leadership, analysis and healthcare. He is president-elect of the International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science and beforehand served as president of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science.
Throughout his profession, Aziz has held tutorial and management positions at establishments together with University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Qatar University and Georgia Southern University.
Aziz has authored greater than 80 peer-reviewed publications, secured a number of analysis grants and delivered displays worldwide on laboratory medication, customized medication, well being informatics and healthcare management.
