Chairman of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh Professor Mamun Ahmed has recommended the efficient software of research-based information and know-how to solve the nation’s social problems and the event of synthetic intelligence able to deeply understanding language, tradition, spiritual values and social context.

He made the remarks on the two-day sixth Young Scientist Congress on the National Science and Technology Complex of Agargaon within the capital, organised by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, stated a press launch.

Mentioning that the world is now within the period of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Professor Mamun stated, ‘Artificial intelligence is transforming life and workplaces and young Bangladeshi scientists are the driving force behind this change.’

Presided over by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences vice-president Professor ZN Tahmida Begum, posts, telecommunications and knowledge know-how and science and know-how minister Fakir Mahbub Anam was current as chief visitor on the congress themed Young Scientists for Artificial Intelligence.

Science and know-how secretary Md Anwar Hossain, secretary of the academy Professor Yarul Kabir, chairperson of the convention organising committee retired main basic Professor ASM Matiur Rahman and Professor Liaquat Ali spoke on the inaugural day of the congress. 

The congress is that includes technical periods, analysis shows, panel discussions and know-how exhibitions, with participation from universities, analysis establishments and technology-related organisations.

Young scientists from throughout the nation are participating within the occasion, showcasing their analysis, improvements and future prospects within the area of synthetic intelligence.
