
On October 24, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in the United States and China Media Group (CMG) co-hosted the “Innovation, Openness, Shared Development” Global Dialogue U.S. Session. Ambassador Xie Feng attended the occasion and delivered a keynote speech, sharing with U.S. representatives from numerous communities important takeaways from the just-concluded Fourth Plenary Session of the twentieth CPC Central Committee and the Recommendations for Formulating the fifteenth Five-Year Plan adopted after deliberation.
Ambassador Xie stated that the subsequent 5 years will see China innovating at a sooner tempo. Innovation is the main driving drive behind growth. Ambassador Xie stated that neither “small yard, high fence” nor decoupling and supply chains disruption would stop China from moving ahead.
