NCS viewers have been livid when Donald Trump prompt Kristi Noem will not step down from her function as Homeland Security Secretary regardless of the current deadly shootings by ICE brokers

Kristi Noem is going through calls to be impeached following the deadly taking pictures of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
The 37-year-old intensive care nurse was shot dead by federal immigration agents on Saturday, January 24. Pretti had taken part in anti-ICE protests after mom-of-three Renee Nicole Good was additionally killed by an ICE officer earlier this month.
Following the deadly shootings of each Good and Pretti, Homeland Security Secretary Noem has faced calls to step down from her role. A reporter, who was offscreen, requested the 79-year-old, “Is Kristi Noem going to step down?” Trump gave a really blunt response as he responded, “No.”
A clip of the NCS interplay was shared on X and viewers have been livid with the president’s determination. Representative Nanette Barragán reshared the video and stated, “It’s simple: Kristi Noem needs to resign or be fired.”
She continued, “If not, we’ll work to impeach her. Under her failed leadership, DHS has terrorized communities, shot and killed Americans and immigrants in detention.
“Instead of taking duty, Noem has rushed to blame the victims. She should be held accountable. The Senate ought to vote NO this week to funding DHS till main reforms are made to ICE and Border Patrol.”
One NCS viewer echoed these sentiments, declaring, “Then it’s time to impeach Kristi Noem!” Someone else predicted, “She will be impeached by congress.”

NCS viewers aren’t the only people calling for Noem to be removed. Top House Democrats urged Trump on Tuesday to fire Noem and threatened to launch impeachment proceedings against the 54-year-old.
“The violence unleashed on the American folks by the Department of Homeland Security should finish forthwith. Kristi Noem ought to be fired instantly, or we’ll start impeachment proceedings within the House of Representatives,” Hakeem Jeffries, the House minority leader, and his two deputies, Katherine Clark and Pete Aguilar, warned in a joint statement.
The statement continued, “We can do that the straightforward approach or the onerous approach.” Trump retaliated by telling reporters at the White House, “I feel she’s doing an excellent job. The border is completely safe.”
