NCS host Kaitlan Collins credited White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Wednesday for defending the journalist whereas on a presidential journey to Saudi Arabia.
Collins defined on Heather McMahan’s “Absolutely Not” podcast that she was in Saudi Arabia on a visit masking President Donald Trump’s go to to the nation and famous the Saudis famously don’t just like the media.

Collins said Saudi authorities then tried to stop her from entering the next press event and, when she pushed back, they told her she wouldn’t be allowed in.
“I may see them like, whispering, and pointing about me,” Collins said. “And a number of the youthful White House employees, they’re with the press, weren’t actually positive what to do, and so they went to Karoline and, to her credit score, she mentioned, ‘No, Kaitlan’s coming in with the remainder of the U.S. press,’ and we went in. And, so, it did not develop into this big situation.
“So, to her credit, she, without a doubt, was like, ‘No, you’re coming in,'” Collins mentioned of Leavitt. “Which I do think is important in that moment, especially when you’re kind of the U.S. contingent abroad, and we don’t do things like they do in Saudi Arabia.”
The White House didn’t instantly return Fox News Digital’s request for remark.
Collins mentioned an identical incident occurred in the earlier Trump administration when the president visited the Korean Demilitarized Zone.

Collins has frequently clashed with Trump whereas masking the White House.
