Stephanie Elam, a long-term correspondent of NCS, has bid farewell to the community. She introduced her exit earlier in April. On April 17, Elam concluded her NCS profession with a remaining look on NCS News Central with colleague Sara Sidner.
Snider instructed her that “everyone here is sad to see it.” Snider stated (through PEOPLE), “I want to say thank you for being my friend, helping me through cancer, and being a sister, really. You have been a sister to me. NCS may have brought us together, but ain’t nothing gonna tear us apart.”
“You’re not getting rid of me, I love you,” Elam stated on the present, “Tell everyone there, every stage manager, everyone there, I love you guys. It’s been a joy working with you all.”
Elam introduced her departure in early April and shared a press release about her expertise on the community. “For more than 20 years I’ve been in the NCS orbit developing and delivering news stories on everything from the environment and entertainment to business and breaking news of all kinds,” Elam wrote within the assertion (through Variety).
She added, “I’m so proud of my NCS career. Live or taped, writing packages or doing a show-and-tell, I’ve done it all — and having a front row seat to document history has been a gift.”
Elam additionally shared a clip from her final report on The Lead with Jake Tapper on Friday, during which they mentioned the upcoming Michael biopic.
Elam’s exit follows the unrelated exit of anchor Rahel Solomon.
