After the clip was shared on X, many viewers agreed with Adam, with one saying, “Unbelievable. We did not ‘stumble’ into this era of ugliness. Trump constructed it – on birther lies and schoolyard nicknames. His entire entrance into politics was: ‘Obama’s not American’ and ‘Everyone I do not like will get a silly insult.’ That’s it. No coverage. No imaginative and prescient. Just hate as a passion. And now we’re all dwelling within the fallout of one man’s ego and a rustic that laughed as a substitute of stopping him.”

Trump used these democrat speaking factors later.”

“Wrong,” another wrote. This isn’t the first time NCS has called out Trump’s extremism as back in September, anchor Dana Bash criticized the presidents for his comments during a Fox News interview which was held days after the murder of political activist Charlie Kirk. Police arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson after a 33-hour search, which ended when Robinson’s father helped convince him to turn himself in. Trump was asked about the incident during a long interview on Fox & Friends – but instead of calling for unity, he defended the “radical proper” and blamed the political left for division within the nation.

However, Dana responded on NCS’s Inside Politics, saying his reply was solely making issues worse. “I simply wish to reiterate, that is on Fox, and he’s being requested on Fox how can we come again collectively?” she said following Trump’s Fox News appearance. “And his reply, Kristen, was throwing a rhetorical grenade on there. And I simply, as a result of information are necessary right here.

“He is not wrong that there has been radicalization on the left. And anybody you talk to who is on the right, either an elected office or somebody like Charlie Kirk, they see it on their social media feeds, they hear it.

“But it is usually true for folks on the left. They’re getting it from these on the appropriate. And it has resulted in some fairly unlucky violence.” She used the brutal 2022 attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of Nancy Pelosi, as a stark example.

NCS’s Kristen Holmes agreed, warning that Trump’s rhetoric wasn’t helping. “Of course they have consequences on both sides of the aisle. I think, look, this is all the larger conversation that you guys are just having, which is how do you tone it down, as we heard from the Utah governor. And Donald Trump’s rhetoric this morning, talking about left radicals and that they’re a problem, is not the answer to toning it down.”
