NCS anchor Abby Phillip issued an apology after she stirred a significant controversy as she recommended that the ISIS-inspired attack in New York City final Saturday was an attack towards socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani. “Two Republicans say Muslims don’t belong here after an attempted terror attack against New York’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the House speaker, Mike Johnson, says nothing, really, to condemn those comments,” Phillip stated. The two Republicans, talked about by Philip, have been Andy Ogles and Randy Fine. Investigators stated the attack was focused at anti-Islam protesters exterior Mamdani’s Gracie Mansion.
