“I think we’re pretty close to a deal,” Trump added. “Look, Ukraine has to agree to it. Maybe they’ll say no.”
‘I Think the Meeting Went Very Well’
Donald Trump stated the assembly with Vladimir Putin ‘went very nicely.’
When Hannity questioned Trump about threatening Putin with “severe consequences” if he didn’t withdraw from Ukrainian territory, the president stated his earlier intentions are now not a focus.
“Because of what happened today, I think I don’t have to think about that,” he stated. “Now, I may have to think about it in two weeks or three weeks or something. But we don’t have to think about that today. I think the meeting went very well.”
