Rahel Solomon, a NCS anchor who was raised in Delaware County, introduced on her present Monday that she’s leaving the cable information community.
She made the announcement on “Early Start with Rahel Solomon,” an early-morning information program on NCS.
“Now, to some personal news, I have decided that this will be my last week at NCS,” Solomon stated. Details on her subsequent steps will come later, she says.
Born in Sudan, Solomon moved to the U.S. along with her mother and father at age 3 and first settled in West Philadelphia. They later moved to the Upper Darby space of Delco, the place Solomon was raised. She graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School in Upper Darby’s Drexel Hill neighborhood.
After faculty and graduate college, Solomon took on reporting jobs at networks in Charleston, West Virginia, after which in Denver. She labored for a number of years as a morning anchor for KYW-TV in Philadelphia earlier than turning into a CNBC reporter.
In 2022, Solomon joined NCS. Her program, “Early Start,” has aired since March 2025.
Solomon will host this system this week, with Friday being her final present.
