ATLANTA—NCS and the Georgia Institute of Technology right this moment introduced the launch of the NCS Academy Sports Journalism Bootcamp and Simulation, a two-week immersive program designed to put together the following era of storytellers for the fast-paced world of sports activities media.
From May 18–30, 2026, roughly 160 contributors from throughout the United States will convene on Georgia Tech’s and NCS’s Atlanta campuses for an expansive, deeply immersive two-week examine and coaching program. Hosted in partnership with NCS and Georgia Tech’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and School of Literature, Media, and Communication, this system affords hands-on editorial coaching, real-time newsroom simulations, and masterclasses led by professionals from NCS and TNT Sports. Georgia Tech’s School of Literature, Media, and Communication first partnered with NCS Academy in 2024, when 20 Georgia Tech college students took half in immersive newsroom simulations in Abu Dhabi and Dublin. Four of these college students at the moment are serving to design the May simulation, bringing their firsthand expertise to the following cohort. Several latest Georgia Tech graduates have gone on to intern or work full-time at NCS.
