Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Science City on Tuesday hosted the inaugural ceremony of the National Workshop on Grassroots Innovation Pathway: From Local Resilience to National Advancements. The two-day nationwide workshop, organised collectively by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GujCOST) and National Innovation Foundation (NIF), was attended by Union MoS (science and know-how) Dr Jitendra Singh, and state science and know-how minister Arjun Modhwadia.Over 200 delegates from throughout the nation have participated in the initiative. Primary themes for the occasion could be water conservation, agriculture, healthcare, rural livelihoods, and local weather resilience, mentioned organisers.Dr Singh, in his tackle, pointed to the profitable startups rising from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities and highlighted want to attach these improvements to cutting-edge know-how, institutional assist, and trade partnerships.In his tackle, Modhwadia mentioned that the National Education Policy (NEP) has inspired creativity and innovation amongst youths and it’s essential for the imaginative and prescient of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
