National Guard troops deployed in Washington, DC, as a part of President Donald Trump’s anti-crime initiative are expected to have their navy orders extended through December, a senior official aware of the planning informed NCS.
The extension, which has not been finalized, is meant to ensure continuity of advantages for service members and their households, not essentially to sign that the mission will final till 12 months’s finish.
Typically, guard members don’t qualify for navy advantages like a housing allowance or well being care except they’re on energetic orders for greater than 30 days.
