FAIRBANKS – Head coach Michael Ricks and the ladies’s basketball program have introduced their schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

This season will characteristic fan-favorite theme nights, reminiscent of Indigenous Appreciation Day vs. Seattle Pacific (Jan. 24), Girls and Women in Sports Day vs. Alaska Anchorage (Feb. 7), Elementary Night vs. Simon Fraser (Feb. 12), Be my Nanook? Valentine’s Game vs. Western Washington (Feb. 14), Go Pink with the ‘Nooks vs. Saint Martin’s (Feb. 26) and Senior Day vs. Western Oregon (Feb. 28).

Fans can now buy their 2025-26 men’s and women’s basketball and court sport season tickets. “We’ve built a schedule that will challenge us right from the start, with strong non-conference opponents leading into an always competitive GNAC slate,” stated Ricks. “Opening with an exhibition at Oregon State will be an incredible early test, and hosting the North Star Invitational will give our fans a great first look at this team. Trips to Utah, Minnesota, and California will test our toughness and set the tone heading into the heart of conference play.”

The ‘Nooks kick off their season with an exhibition contest in Corvallis, Ore., going through off in opposition to the Oregon State Beavers on Nov. 2. After a weekend off, the Nanooks are again in earnest with the North Star Invitational Presented by Mt. McKinley Bank, set to run from Nov. 13-15.
