(NCS) — Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards was a celebration of the previous and current.
Doja Cat opened the present with a nod to the MTV of outdated, showing on a giant display dressed as Max Headroom, a fictional character from the Eighties who was billed as “the world’s first ‘computer-generated’ host.” Then famed musician Kenny G. performed her on stage to carry out her single, “Jealous Type.
Going into the occasion, Lady Gaga led amongst nominees with 12. She gained the first Moon Person trophy of the night time – artist of the 12 months – offered by Lenny Kravitz.
“I hope as you navigate through the mayhem of daily life, you are reminded of the importance of the art of your life,” Gaga mentioned. “I dedicate this award to the audience.
