Missouri S&T and Idaho National Laboratory (INL) held a signing ceremony Tuesday, April 7, throughout a go to by INL leaders to the college for a collaboration geared toward advancing research and academic alternatives.
The partnership was formalized via a memorandum of understanding highlighting their joint dedication to the Strategic Understanding for Premier Education and Research (SUPER) initiative.
The agreement outlines the intentions of INL and Missouri S&T to collaborate on numerous research and improvement tasks of mutual curiosity, together with built-in power techniques, superior nuclear reactors, electrical energy and grid techniques and safety, and superior supplies and manufacturing for excessive environments. - Establish a joint appointment program to reinforce research and tutorial collaborations.
The partnership will goal key research areas that align with INL’s imaginative and prescient to alter the world’s power future and safe our nation’s important infrastructure. The recognized research areas embody:
- Integrated power techniques
- Advanced nuclear reactors
- Electric and energy grid techniques and safety
- Advanced supplies and manufacturing for excessive environments.
