Missouri University of Science and Technology’s arts, languages, and philosophy division will current a choir live performance this November.
The efficiency will start at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, within the Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, situated on the nook of tenth and Main Street on the Missouri S&T campus. The choir is directed by Lorie Francis, instructing professor of music at Missouri S&T.
“The S&T Choir has a fun program planned of songs from stage and screen, including selections from “The Wizard of Oz,” “Pippin,” Disney motion pictures and extra,” says Francis. “Several students will be featured as soloists on a number of these tunes. We are fortunate to have Jo Walter joining us on piano and John Francis on ukelele. If you are a fan of musicals, movie musicals, or just want to hear some fun choral music, join us in Leach Theater!”
Tickets are $5 for the general public and free to youth ages 18 and underneath and for Missouri S&T college students with a sound ID. Tickets will be bought on-line at leachtheatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219. Service charges could apply to tickets bought on-line. Tickets will also be bought on the Leach Theatre Box Office beginning one hour earlier than the efficiency.
