The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with QG Construction UK Limited to develop an Institute of Green and Sustainable Science and Technology at the Acherensua Campus of the University of Engineering and Agricultural Sciences (UEAS), Bunso.
The partnership represents a major step towards strengthening Ghana’s capability in inexperienced innovation, sustainable engineering, climate-smart agriculture, and technology-driven options, aligning with the federal government’s dedication to sustainable growth and environmental duty.
The proposed Institute is anticipated to function a centre of excellence for analysis, coaching, and innovation in inexperienced and sustainable applied sciences, with a robust concentrate on sensible, industry-relevant options to Ghana’s growth challenges.
Speaking on the significance of the collaboration, the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, underscored the necessity to align tertiary training with rising world developments, significantly in sustainability, local weather motion, and environmentally accountable industrial practices.
