“If collaboration proceeds well, every piece of research, from undergraduate theses to dissertations, can originate from real problems faced by regions and industry,” he mentioned in a press release in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Yuliarto said that his ministry is presently strengthening the connection between universities, regional governments, and business.
Through a needs-based strategy, he continued, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology is encouraging analysis and scientific work by college students and lecturers to be directed towards addressing concrete issues round them.
“The ministry is also opening up collaboration between industry and universities, where industry can convey the challenges they face, which can then be addressed through academic research,” the minister added.
Furthermore, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie added that the rise in analysis funding is a tangible type of authorities help for strengthening the standard of analysis by universities, together with personal universities and people within the japanese regions of Indonesia.
According to her, the funds are directed in the direction of strengthening analysis downstreaming and making certain that analysis outcomes will be straight utilized by the neighborhood and business.
