Microsoft is elevating the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription price by 50% to $29.99 per thirty days, efficient instantly, the corporate introduced Wednesday.
The $10 spike comes with a slew of adjustments to all its Game Pass plans, although its Essential and Premium plans will stay the identical price.
The Game Pass Core tier will not exist and as an alternative shall be rolled into the Essential tier, whereas Standard subscribers will transfer to the Premium tier.
“As we continue to evolve Xbox Game Pass, we’re focused on delivering more value, more benefits, and more great games across every plan,” the corporate mentioned in a launch. “Whether you play on console, PC, cloud – or all three – there’s a Game Pass option designed to fit your playstyle.”
Ultimate subscribers will now have entry to over 400 video games and greater than 75 day-one releases annually, with over 45 new titles added on Wednesday. Users may also see improved streaming high quality as much as 1440p and a brand new rewards program.
Microsoft beforehand reported a report 34 million Game Pass subscribers in 2024 and a complete income of virtually $5 billion over the past fiscal 12 months.
