(NCS) — Apple, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast and Meta are simply a few of the main firms who’ve made donations to construct President Donald Trump’s proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom, in accordance to the White House.
Trump has repeatedly mentioned that work on the ballroom is privately funded by himself and donors and can price nothing to taxpayers.
On Wednesday, Trump discussed his plans for the ballroom, saying it’ll price “about $300 million.” The administration beforehand put the cost of the ballroom project at $200 million.
Additional donors embody co-founders of cryptocurrency trade Gemini, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss; Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his household; and the Adelson household. Trump awarded Miriam Adelson, a Republican megadonor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018.
