Meta signs deal to pay Corning up to $6 billion for fiber-optic cables, CNBC reports


Jan 27 (Reuters) – Facebook dad or mum ​Meta ‌Platforms has signed ‌a deal to pay Gorilla ⁠Glass ‌maker Corning up to $6 ‍billion for fiber-optic cables ​for its ‌AI information facilities, CNBC reported on Tuesday.

Shares of ⁠Corning ​jumped extra ​than 7% in premarket ‍buying and selling.
