Meta's Mark Zuckerberg and Alexandr Wang recently appeared on a podcast where they discussed their company's AI ambitions, but it seems they didn't exactly warm up to the drink of choice - Guinness.

The beer, a dark Irish stout with a roasted taste often likened to coffee or dark chocolate, was served at the "Cheeky Pint" episode featuring Stripe cofounder John Collison. In a clip that has gone viral on X, Zuckerberg can be seen sipping his pint while looking somewhat uncomfortable, suggesting he didn't take a liking to the malty Irish beer.

Zuckerberg and Wang spent over two hours discussing Meta's plans for AI, including their new Muse product and significant spending commitments, in conversation with Collison.

Cheers were exchanged among the trio before Zuckerberg revealed he had brought his host a keg of Guinness from Dublin as a gesture of goodwill.

The generosity was not universally appreciated, however, as viewers began sharing clips of Zuckerberg and Wang drinking the stout on social media.

In the footage, Zuckerberg's reaction to taking a sip of the beer was telling - he swirled it around in his mouth before appearing to wince, sparking comments about whether he enjoyed it.

The moment has become a talking point among those who watched the show.

During a podcast discussion about Meta's personal AI agent, Muse, Mark Zuckerberg revealed that he uses the product to analyze video from his mixed martial arts training sessions. He mentioned that the system provides him with feedback between rounds, allowing him to adjust his technique.

Alexandr Wang, on the other hand, shared how he utilizes his own AI agent for more mundane purposes - sourcing teas from vendors in Taiwan and Japan. This exchange took place during a conversation about Meta's focus on multimodal AI, as well as its priorities regarding privacy and security.

The discussion also touched on the company's plans to develop larger models, but this topic did not seem to generate much attention or interest among viewers who watched the podcast.
