London City Lionesses supervisor Eder Maestre says Natalia Arroyo is a “very important person in his life” and he’ll thank her once they face one another of their remaining Women’s Super League recreation of the season on Saturday.

Aston Villa boss Arroyo will reunite with Maestre, who was her assistant at former membership Real Sociedad for 3 seasons, once they journey to Bromley this weekend.

“I spent maybe some of my best years in my professional career with her. It was amazing. She is a friend and I’m very excited to face her,” mentioned Maestre.

“I really appreciate all the things and all the information that was around me. She put me in a good place to gain my contract with CD Tenerife Femenino.

“It’s one thing that I’m all the time going to be very happy about and I’m going to benefit from the state of affairs to say thanks for her in entrance of all people.”

Maestre says Arroyo is doing “various things” at Villa than she was at Real Sociedad so Saturday’s encounter will prove to be a challenge.

London City Lionesses have had a steady debut campaign in the WSL and sit four points above Aston Villa in seventh place.

“I do know her very nicely. We need to be prepared however I believe Aston Villa has this sort of entity. They handle the sport fairly nicely,” added Maestre.

“I can see some recognisable patterns. It’s going to be very thrilling. For me, it may be a really particular expertise going through her this Saturday.”
