The Louvre, the world’s most-visited museum in Paris, France, has closed on Sunday following a robbery.

Minister of Culture Rachida Dati stated the robbery befell on Sunday morning as the museum opened.

“No injuries were reported. I am on site alongside museum staff and the police. Investigations are ongoing,” Dati stated in a publish on X.

The museum, which homes world-famous artworks together with Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, stated it could stay closed on account of “exceptional reasons.”

It shouldn’t be but identified what, if something, was stolen from the museum.

This is a growing story and might be up to date.
