A LUXURY New Forest lodge has scooped a conveted triple award from Conde Nast Traveller.

Lime Wood Hotel, which is situated near Lyndhurst, has acquired the journey information’s inaugural Triple Crown accolade, putting it among the many greatest lodges in the world.

Lime Wood is the one lodge in the New Forest to have this accolade, becoming a member of the likes of The Savoy in London, The Newt in Somerset, and Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. Altogether there are 18 lodges in the UK which have acquired the coveted title, solely six are exterior London.

The property is described by Conde Nast Traveller as “one of the few places where you can find Michelin star-level cuisine, an award-winning spa and one of Britain’s most beautiful national parks all in one place”.
