Lauren “Laurie” Wood Nardone, 61, died unexpectedly at her house on Monday, October 13, 2025. She is the beloved spouse of Joseph A. Nardone with whom she shared 34 years of marriage and the beloved mom of Samantha, Jacob, and Jackson.
Laurie was born in Malden, Massachusetts on April 8, 1964 and is the daughter of Edwin and Carol (Kilgallon) Wood of Malden. A proud graduate of Malden High School, she went on to earn a bachelor’s diploma from St. Michael’s College in Vermont. Lauren later pursued her ardour for regulation by acquiring a paralegal certificates, which led to a satisfying 22-year profession as a paralegal at AECOM in Westford, Mass. Her professionalism and dedication had been matched solely by her real take care of the folks with whom she labored.
Outside of her profession, Lauren was an avid reader, jigsaw puzzle fanatic, and liked to spend time enjoying board video games. She loved dancing and mountain biking along with her husband. A lifelong New Englander, Lauren liked spending time touring all through Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire to go to household and pals. She was a passionate Boston sports activities fan and was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. But above all, hergreatest ardour was spending time along with her household.
Lauren is survived by her loving husband, Joe, her dad and mom, and her youngsters. She additionally leaves behind her siblings, Robert Wood of Malden; Donna Servente and her husband, John, of Hudson, NH; Kerrin Wood and her accomplice, Michael Singer, of Acton, Mass; and her sister-in-law Sherry McGrath (Wood). In addition, Lauren is survived by her nieces and nephews: Shannon Wood, Bradley Applin, Caitlin Applin, Asher Singer, Vincent Nardone, and Elyse Nardone.
She was predeceased by her brother, Eddie Wood Jr., and her sister, Pamela Wood.
Relatives and pals are invited to Lauren’s visitation on THURSDAY, October sixteenth from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass shall be held on FRIDAY, October seventeenth at 10:00 a.m. at PARISH OF THE RESURRECTION, 449 Broad St., Nashua, NH. Her interment will happen on SATURDAY, October 18th at 12:00 p.m. at HOLY CROSS CEMETERY, 175 Broadway, Malden, MA.
