LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A science and expertise expo wrapped up this weekend in Las Vegas, celebrating its 15th year.
More than 60 interactive reveals and dwell demonstrations from scientists have been on show Saturday on the World Market Center. Families might immerse themselves in hands-on science and cutting-edge expertise, together with digital actuality, e-sports, and modern-day robotics. The occasion was free.

Saturday’s expo marked the ultimate day of a nine-day occasion sequence introduced by CCSD and the Las Vegas Science and Natural History Museum.
Organizers stated the final day was about getting children enthusiastic about future careers in science and tech.
“This is for all families with students who are curious and want to explore and learn. And our hope is that we break down some barriers by offering free events like this giant expo, so it’s really easy for families to come out and enjoy and learn together,” stated Alexandra Liebman, director of the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival. “And we hope to inspire maybe the next scientist, biologist, engineer, innovator, whatever that is.”
Organizers stated they’re already planning subsequent year’s festival and are searching for extra neighborhood companions to assist make it even larger.
