Lake Havasu is one of 15 best beaches in the US, Conde Nast says

Arizona has no shoreline.

But being landlocked did not cease the Grand Canyon State from reaching notoriety for having one of the best beaches in the U.S.

Conde Nast Traveler revealed its list of the 15 best beaches in the U.S. as determined by its readers in its 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. Lake Havasu State Park got here in at No. 13 on the rating.

Florida’s Pensacola Beach was No. 1.

The recognition marks the newest brush with fame for Lake Havasu, an Arizona spring break hub alongside the state’s western edge. In June, USA TODAY 10BEST named Lake Havasu the No. 10 lake in the U.S. and the No. 6 lake for water sports activities, whereas its Windsor Beach was the No. 6 lakeside seaside.

Arizona is no stranger to recognition from Conde Nast. Multiple motels and resorts in metro Phoenix and Sedona had been named amongst the best in the Southwest and West, together with Fairmont Scottsdale Princess at No. 1.
